Thermal insulation
The thermal insulation is not only a topic during the cold winter months but plays an important role during the summer months as protection from oppressive greenhouse effect.
- The rooms under the roof are cosily warm in winter and pleasantly cool and fresh in summer with the HOKO clima system. Without further technical measures and when compared to conventional building practices, a temperature difference of up to 5 degrees centigrade is recorded in the rooms.
- The HOKO clima wall system encloses the rafters and results in a faultless thermal barrier consisting of soft wood fibre board and an insulation layer without any un insulated spaces made possible through the blowing process. The high proportion of material ensures that no rotational airflow takes place in the insulation layer.
- The draft free system prevents warm air from entering and we guarantee that no air escapes through un-insulated spaces.
- The HOKO clima wall system is, in comparison with the common insulation materials, of a far higher density. For this reason it is able to absorb and store up to eight times as much energy and so the conduction of heat is delayed and therefore energy loss is greatly reduced.
