Damp pevention

The HOKO clima wall system offers multiple solutions for preventing problems with damp:

HOKO-Haus

  • Exterior protection from open diffusion and water repellent building materials
  • Full cellulose insulation absorbs, transports and sets damp free in the atmosphere
  • Draft free circulation

The construction is protected through various methods and the living comfort enhanced through:

HOKO-Haus

  • Constructive measures to protect the wood rather than chemicals
  • Interior wall surfaces are warm - this is the best protection against condense water and therefore mould formation
  • The prevention of convection damage

The HOKO clima wall system offers a maximum of assurance against building damage and defects due to 3 factors:

  1. On the inside of the timber frae construction is a second wooden framework. On this is a continuous draft proofing layer of either reinforced paper or wooden shuttering. This in turn offers a space for cables and water or heating pipes and a structure or surface for interior facing and trim. All the joints and edges are closed with self adhesive tape.
  2. On the outside is a shuttering with tongue and groove wood fibre boards to further prevent possible thermal and airflow leakage combines with the cellulose insulation to create a faultless insulating composition.
  3. The open diffusion and damp regulation of the construction guarantee maximum evaporation potential. The use of compatible materials means that damp or excess humidity can not become concentrated and is continuously transported out of the building and into the outside atmosphere.
